Last weekend, Mike and I drove Kendal down to Vancouver so she could start college at WSU Vancouver. She's so excited! We were able to find her a place to stay with Natalie, an LDS girl, who's in Jordan and Taylor's ward. It's going to be a great experience for Kendal! Mike and I had a great time visiting down there since we got to see my sister Jamie's family and spend time with our children. It was wonderful other than almost dying from heat stroke in the 100 degree weather on the way down there with no air conditioning and the sun beating down on me the ENTIRE way!!! Below is a picture of Natalie, Jordan and Kendal. We decided to go to Joe's Crab Shack by the Vancouver/Portland bridge. That resturaunt was a hoot with dancing waiters and waitresses and the food was yummy too!

Starting college!!! I will never forget that time of life- it felt so monumental walking around campus, meeting my new roommates, and my parents driving away!!! ...and me BAWLING:) Despite my somewhat traumatic beginning, those years were the BEST and I had a BLAST! Hope Kendall does too. She is adorable and already looks set with her school spirit:)
Oh Vancouver. I was thinking she was coming to Pullman to hang out with us. Well, let me know if she does come our way and I'll make sure she has some friends here. =) Good luck with college Kendal!
I can't believe your little Kendal is away at college! I am glad she was able to find a place down there. She is going to do great... I just KNOW IT!
