Baby George is Here!

George Walter Mantzke born August 30th, 2012 in Vienna, VA. Weighing 9lbs.,7oz. and 21.5 inches long

Emma did great and we're happy he's finally here!

Taylor loves his boy! And George looks just like his Daddy!

Mike and I are thrilled for this new chapter in our lives and can't wait to be there when Taylor blesses George at the end of September!

Three Weddings and a Brain Tumor, OH MY!

Where to begin...
Life can be full of joy and then there's the pain part...
And then there's the joy part...

Jordan and Brooke were married in the Sacramento, CA Temple September 2nd, 2011

 Taylor and Emma were married in Orem, UT January 28th, 2012

Kendal was married to Cory VomBaur in the Portland, OR Temple February 25th, 2012

And then the pain...
Mike was diagnosed with a brain tumor in October 2011. He had a Gamma Knife procedure in March 2012 and will have an MRI in October 2012 to see if the tumor is dying. If not, he'll have brain surgery. We have faith that our Father in Heaven can heal Mike if it's his will and only time will tell. For now, we feel peace knowing that it is in the Lord's hands.

Jordan is ENGAGED!

Jordan and Brooke had met back in 2009 while he was living in Vancouver, WA and she was Sister Lee serving in the Salt Lake Temple Square/Vancouver, WA Mission. After Brooke's mission was over and she returned home to Sacramento, CA, she and Jordan started talking and formed a friendship. In March 2011 they started dating and on July 4th, 2011 they became engaged! We couldn't be more thrilled!! The wedding is September 2nd, 2011 in the Sacramento Temple!

Mother's Day Happiness♥

My daughter Kendal and her best friend Paige Mitchell invited us Moms to a lovely lunch at the Victorian Rose Tea Room in Port Orchard on Saturday. The girls were so thoughtful and we had a great time!

These two helped make my Mother's Day fantastic! Jordan and Taylor also called and Jordan sent me some earrings from Jared's. (his working there has it's perks!) I'm so grateful to be a Mother and my four helped make being a Mom something I will always cherish!

My sister came for a visit!

Whoa! Where has the time gone!!!

Can't believe it's May 1st!! Just can't. Busy, busy, busy and I have no kids living here! What gives?

It all started back in November. Mike and I were sent to serve in a different ward other than our own. He, as the High Priest Group Leader and me, as his companion. We visited family after family, getting a feel for our new ward and how we could best serve the members there. It's been wonderful and a little overwhelming to say the least. We love the people here and their unique situations. In March, I was also called as the 1st Counselor in the Young Women's Presidency. We have 9 active young women that I absolutely adore! So, life here has been one of service and the best part is, we didn't even have to move!!! Maybe this is all in preparation for what lies ahead? Who knows. One thing I know for sure, I'm liking it!
