best music video of all time!! now that's what I call a workout!!!

22 years and still counting...

Mike and I were having fun taking self portraits the other night.
Can you tell who the goofy one is???
Our expressions fit 22 years of marriage beautifully. And this was all by accident as we were clicking away.
How apropos.
Married life is quite a ride. It's a love/hate thing. 22 years and I'm still breaking him in. After a dismal Valentine's Day, I wrote, "Mike's Survival Guide to the Holidays". I handed it to him and said, "You do this, if you want to survive". He knew I was quite serious and asked me to laminate it. I love Xyron.
I love Mike too.

February came and went...

Jun Yoshikawa came over for a weekend to visit! He's been going to college at Western this past semester studying English and has had a wonderful time. I love that kid! It's hard to believe it's been over 2 1/2 years since he stayed with us as an exchange student. We had lots of fun with him when he arrived. We just bummed around and also looked for a "Tickle me Elmo" for his Mom. They sell for $40 here, but in Japan they sell for over $140!!!! So after shopping, I made a yummy steak dinner. Jun spent the night and then he caught the ferry the next morning. It was great to see him again and we hope he'll visit us again soon!

Kendal attended the Stake Laurel/Priest Prom this last weekend with David Fry. His brother and cousin invited two of Kendal's friends as well, so they all went together as a group. The girls got ready at the Mitchell's house and the boys cooked the girls a fancy dinner and got ready at our house. Then they headed to Silverdale for the dance. Over 150 kids danced the night away and Kendal said it was lots of fun dancing with her friends and seeing Kelsey. Oh, and getting dressed up like a princess was fun too!

My sister Marie came over yesterday and spent the night last night! She was visiting from Ohio and I have to say, being with her was wonderful and long over due!! Kaleb and Makayla have gotten so tall and grown up and they are beautiful children. Family is so important to me and having this time together with Marie I will cherish forever!!!

Jamie, Marie and I had fun at the Olive Garden today and ate waaaaaaaay too much! But ooh was it good and the company was even better!!! I LOVE my sisters!
