מַזָּל טוֹב. , Mazal tov, Congratulations!

Rabbi Heber, The Torah Scribe and Mark

It was a wonderful day for the Orthodox Jewish Community in Tacoma on Sunday. I was invited to go to a celebration with the family I nanny for and I'm so glad I went! There were about 200 people in attendance as a new Torah was dedicated, as well as, a groundbreaking for a new Synagogue. The Torah was finish before everyone as a Scribe finished the last letters. The Scribe flew in from New York that day with the Torah that took him a year to complete. The family I work for were instrumental in making sure a new Torah would be possible. They are such wonderful people!
The Shofar being blown!
Judah was such a good boy!
One of the speakers, was the Attorney General of Washington state. Then there was the groundbreaking and dancing!

Walking and dancing through the streets!

Mark holding the Torah under the Chupah

After we arrived at a center, there was more dancing!
putting away the Torah
Such a sweet and happy boy dancing with his Daddy!

Rabbi's Father from New York dancing with Judah
During dinner, my friends were honored for their generosity by Rabbi Heber and his wife.
Mark giving a speech
And of course we ended the festivities with more Dancing!

Judah loves to dance

How fun! I went to a bat mitzvah a few months back, it was a blast. Those people know how to have fun, I tell you what! I was like, if I weren't Mormon, I'd be Jewish.

But all joking aside. Congrats to them! That's rad!!!
