Senior Tea, Awards Night and Key Club BBQ

Last week Kendal had her Senior Tea. It's a program held at the end of a school day for all 320 seniors and their parents. The ASB Officers and Senior Class Officers do skits and other seniors

perform musical numbers. At the end, a slide show of their class throughout the years is shown and then their principal, Aaron Leavell spoke.

He wasn't scheduled to, but he wanted to say goodbye to the seniors and had almost everyone in tears. He is such a sweet man and you knew he was genuine in his sentiments. It was a wonderful ceremony!

Then that night was the Senior Awards Night. Kendal was awarded 5 scholarships and between that and financial aid, enough money to cover college and books for the first year!
She's had an amazing senior year!!!
Also, Kendal was awarded at the Key Club/Kiwanis BBQ the Alex Bennett Scholarship Award for her outstanding Key Club service!
That's our girl!!!!

It's so fun to see these pictures. Mr. Bennett was my math teacher and everyone always thought he was my dad.
Congrats to Kendal. How neat.
Kendal has the face you could find in a magazine.
